Smart Turnouts colourful and popular range of university and regimental watchstraps were featured in Esquire Magazine.

Smart Turnout’s watchstraps have proved a hit in the US this year, particularly with Esquire magazine who featured them in their March 2008 issue. We've recently added the James Bond watchstrap, as worn by Sean Connery in the films Goldfinger and Thunderball. And this has popped up in various fashion blogs such as Off The Cuff.

Interestingly the watchstrap itself was originally developed by the military to replace the pocket watch thus making it easier to coordinate planning in the field. 18mm woven designs, available from Smart Turnout, were favoured as, unlike a metal strap, they were non-reflexive and didn't require waterproofing.
