Queen's Royal Lancers
The Queen’s Royal Lancers was formed in 1993, but its various constituent regiments can trace their history back to the 18th century. The Regiment wears the motto ‘Death or Glory’ as its cap badge, given to the 17th Lancers in 1759 following the death of General James Wolfe after their success against the French in Quebec.
