Smart Turnout started with a jumper knitted in the colours of the Scots Guards for a race at Sandown in 1992 as Philip Turner was nearing the end of a ten year career in the British Army. This jumper and the compliments that it received was the impetus for him to start making more clothes and accessories in regimental colours. As sales took off and word began to spread and with a brochure produced and website set up the company began to include Schools, Universities and Clubs within its product range and by 1999 the company was born. The selection of products is constantly expanding and the company has now also launched a range of clothing in some of the Ivy League colours, which have proved to be extremely popular. In addition to our range of clothing in colours of various regiments, schools and universities Smart Turnout also produces a collection of classic British menswear, this includes high quality British made trousers and luxury Scottish lambswool and cashmere jumpers. This is a selection of clothing that is long lasting, hard wearing and most importantly looks and feels fantastic. Aside from clothing, Smart Turnout also produces a small selection of gifts which can be personalized in either your own racing or regimental colours.
